Dropped in 1984, W.A.S.P.’s self titled debut album was an enigma of its time. The hair-raising glam metal record features phenomenal tracks, such as “I Wanna Be Somebody” and “School Daze.” Over a decade later, the album was reissued and the original opening track, “Animal (F*ck Like a Beast),” was finally included. The effort became their most successful release, selling up to over 500,000 copies in the U.S. The legacy of this record is unmatched. For instance, modern metal bands like Children of Bodom, Tiamat, and Fozzy have all covered songs from the album.
