After a successful 65-date stadium tour with the Jonas Brothers and the release of their two new hit singles, “I’m confident that I’m insecure” and “23,” which they also have done acoustic renditions of, Lawrence is gearing up for an eventful 2024 with their 40-date international Family Business Tour and the release of their album (titled Family Business) by the end of the year. Prepare yourself for a night of music inspired by classic and all-time favorites Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Randy Newman, with a mix of lively pop.
So if you’re ready to be captivated by the live performances of singles like “Quarantined with You,” “Freckles,” “Don’t Lose Sight,” and “False Alarms,” get your tickets here. Hurry before they sell out!
Lawrence wasn't always an eight-piece band. If you didn't know, they actually started out as a musical duo, comprised of siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence.
Clyde got the ball rolling while he was studying at Brown University - forming a band called The Clyde Lawrence Band. He was all about the keyboard and lead vocals. The entire band was made up of Brown students too! Meanwhile, Gracie was still cruising through high school. But that didn't stop her from hopping on board to perform with the band. They were hitting up all sorts of spots, from colleges around the Northeast to campus events, spreading their vibe far and wide.
Sooner than later, Gracie stepped up to share the spotlight as co-lead singer, and thus, the band rebranded as Lawrence.
Lawrence made history as the very first band to drop tracks under Beautiful Mind Records, and they've been killing it ever since. They've hit all the big-time shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Today Show, and even popped up on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly.
Their album "Hotel TV" has been streamed by millions upon millions across all the major platforms. By 2021, it had already racked up over 60 million spins on Spotify alone. Their debut track "Don't Lose Sight" was everywhere, hitting #33 on the Top 40 charts and getting airtime on over 100 stations nationwide!
They've built up an incredible fan base on the road, playing packed houses all across the country. And they've shared stages with some of the biggest names like Jon Bellion, Lake Street Dive, Vulfpeck, and Jacob Collier. More recently, they joined forces with the Jonas Brothers on their North American tour in 2023.
The ensemble's not slowing down anytime soon though!! Lawrence just dropped the bomb that they're hitting up Europe for their Summer Tour in 2024, followed by a Fall Tour across the US. This is all in support of their upcoming album "Family Business" - slated to drop by the end of the year.
So, when they land in Seattle, you better make sure to be there!
