The celebrated folk supergroup I’m With Her has got music lovers on the edge of their seats. The trio, made up of the talented Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and Sara Watkins, has recently broke silence on their new record, Wild and Clear and Blue.  Scheduled for release on May 9th through Rounder Records, the three piece has recently given fans a taste with the teaser track “Ancient Light” and we can’t get enough!! To celebrate their latest opus, I’m With Her is embarking on a super exciting North American tour. 

In a press statement, Aoife O’Donovan said they penned Wild and Clear and Blue while “thinking about growing up so in love with music and then actually making music ourselves — it’s very specific to our own lives, but I think there’s something universal about having those childhood memories tied up in the music your parents played for you.”

WILD AND CLEAR AND BLUE TOUR

The celebratory WILD AND CLEAR AND BLUE TOUR begins on the 5th of June in St. Louis. The trek then makes its way to major cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Austin, and more, before winding down in Nashville on the 16th of November. 

Described by the trio as “communing with our past and future selves,” the new hit “Ancient Light” arrived with a self-recorded music video which features behind-the-scenes footage from the production of the album.

I’m With Her dropped their debut record, See You Around, back in 2018. And, ever since, they’ve been winning over fans in every corner of the globe! The group consists of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Sara Watkins (violin, guitar and ukulele), Sarah Jarosz (banjo, mandolin, octave mandolin and guitar), as well as Aoife O'Donovan (keyboard and guitar). This three piece is such a big deal that their 2020 single "Call My Name" clinched nominations for two Grammy Awards, winning the Best American Roots Song category.
