Gregorian Tickets
Moore Theatre - WA | Seattle, Washington
Seeing this type of show near the holiday season certainly provides quite the twist. The most successful choir of all time, the Germans of Gregorian, are making their way to Seattle's Moore Theater on Friday, December 6th. This is by no means your average church or obscure monastery band. Although they do play with that idea quite a bit, and it makes for an intriguing show that goes way beyond the chanting. The group can chant a Christmas carol and then turn around and coordinate perfectly to hit every note of a song like "Tears in Heaven." That's why the date fits the show like a glove.
Gregorian are on tour of the US and Canada throughout 2024 and 2025, but this Seattle date is very special because it allows them to craft a show where you'll get the best of their renditions of legendary rock songs. At the same time, it's the holidays, and they can take advantage of that. Hit that get tickets button, and don't skip out on this one-of-a-kind show.
This is the perfect moment to address the elephant in the room! Many people end up skipping out on the truly one-of-a-kind experience that Gregorian brings to the table because they feel it's a dark arts type of event. That's not necessarily the case. Of course, if you know this already, you can go ahead and scroll to the get tickets button and pick your seats in the Moore Theater for this Friday night show. The uninitiated, however, you must read on! Yes, the band plays into the "bit" with their outfits, and you may even see some fire on stage. They have a grand entrance that any heavy metal band would envy and start chanting the most romantic soft rock song that you can think of.
Gregorian is the incarnation of the phrase; don't judge by its cover. If you see some of the pictures of the shows, you may immediately suppose that this is some cult that's going to be on stage at the Moore Theater. That's ironically what they want you to think, that way you'll be completely caught off guard when they start chanting "Deck the Halls" on December 6th. If you catch a Gregorian at any point in the year besides the holidays, it's still a wonderful experience how they perfectly choreograph the way they chant the songs. That's an amazing sight that you're likely not going to get with any other band on tour anywhere in the world. Since this show is in early December, though, they can mix in holiday songs, and that just makes the crowd lose it!
Any place inside the Moore Theater can provide its own appeal for this particular show. If you're a bit further back, you'll have a better perspective of the fireworks and the stage setup, which is a major part of the show. Being up close is great as well because you get a chance to see the singers' facial expressions. That's part of the appeal, and in a way, the members of Gregorian are premier stage actors who understand that their expressions are an element of the show. Hit that get tickets button and head to the Moore Theater on Friday, December 6th. You won't regret it!
