Marking the start of Ali’s 2025 North American Tour, the series of shows will see him hit stages all across the country - including a show at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, The Vic Theatre over in Chicago, a night at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. to end the tour, and of course - a special night here at The Moore Theatre.
Ali Sethi is a multifaceted, multilingual Pakistani artist who is a singer, songwriter, author, and activist that has been active in the scene since 2010. Born to Pakistani politicians and journalists, Ali was always destined to make his voice heard by any means necessary. Ali actually began his career solely as a writer, rising to fame from his 2009 novel titled The Wish Maker. He moved into the music scene after graduating college, and trained under Pakistani greats in traditional Hindustani music - studying under Ustad Saami and Farida Khanum. When he finally moved into music in 2015, he was immediately praised as one of the few Millennials making traditional sounds and the hits continued. He currently has over 1 billion views on his youtube channel, and Ali doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
Between books, music, and even parlaying into film - Ali has always stayed true to his artistry, and now - he’s ready to show all of us that commitment on his national tour. He recently came out with a new track, titled Subho Shaam, and everyone has been loving Ali’s new vibes as he gears up for a potential album release. We’re so here for it - now all we need is for you to be here, too!
Make sure to get your tickets and invite all your friends! This show will be one you just don’t want to miss. We can’t wait to have you here at Moore, right in the crowd on May 28th!
