A Drag Queens Christmas is more than just a show, it’s a blend of flamboyancy, diversity and comedic originality. They are known for their extravagant personalities, humour and sass which is a phenomenal way to spend your evening. They make original comedic sketches based off of holiday traditions and also love lip syncing to classic Christmas songs and adding in a little flare.
A Drag Queens Christmas will include winners, fan favourites, legends, Miss Congeniality and Queens from season 16 of the Emmy award winning show, Rupauls Drag Race. Each Queen brings their own unique style to the stage to liven up your holiday spirit. The Queens will be showing you how to love yourself before anyone else, because darling, you always have to put yourself first.
They have a meet and greet before the show for all VIPS that starts where you can speak to your favourite queens including Plasma, Q, Shea Coulee', Trinity The Tuck, Miz Cracker, Manila Luzon, Venus, and Gisele Lullaby and a there is also a short interval in between the show to get all of their stellar Merch. This year the show is for ages 18 and above only as it brings some of the naughty side of Christmas out.
The tour will travel to 39 US cities and 15 Canadian cities. The show’s host Nina West rose to fame after her appearance on season 11 of Rupauls Drag race where she places sixth and won Miss Congeniality. She was also named the top local artist of 2019 by Columbus Underground. Nina also released three EP’s in 2019. Fun fact! There is a street in Columbus that was named after Nina called “The Nina West Way”. Nina West was the first person to walk down the purple carpet in full drag.
