One of the most influential Latin-pop and contemporary reggaeton artists is headed to Seattle in mid-September. The Caracas native Danny Ocean will be taking his Reflexa tour to the Moore Theater. This concert will be taking place on Friday 13th September 2024. It’s a perfect day to take your date to the theater or get together with some girlfriends and enjoy the show! Danny’s promoting his newest album, also called Reflexa, on this US and Canada tour. He’ll be spending the spring in Mexico before that! Danny Ocean is a pseudonym that this artist created for himself when he started his YouTube channel around 2009. On this channel, he shared all of his early work. In Danny’s case, he would upload DJ sets of himself playing some electronic music tunes that he’d created. At the time, the channel was his lab, and he’d venture into rap music and a lot of covers in English. Even though he’s mostly known for his music with Spanish lyrics, don’t be surprised if he pulls out a few songs in English from those early days at the Moore Theater. It’s fascinating to see how these influences from different genres ultimately lead to “Me Rehuso.”
“Me Rehuso” is still his biggest hit even though he’s worked with some of the top names in Latin Music at this point, including a collaboration with Alejandro Sanz on “Correcaminos,” which was nominated for a Latin Grammy. On this Friday in Seattle, though, all those with a lover they just can’t let go of will be singing, “Me rehuso a darte un ultimo beso asi que guardalo” at the top of their lungs. Knowing that, it could be just better to come out with a group of friends. Maybe you don’t want to know if your significant other has someone on the back burner that they’re singing that song to!
