The multi-talented actress, writer, and comedian Celeste Barber, known to millions as the "Australian Queen of Comedy," today announced the dates and locations of her 20+ city North American "Backup Dancer Tour." Produced by Live Nation, the tour will begin on May 2 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles as part of the "Netflix Is a Joke" Comedy Festival and will stop in cities such as New York, Atlanta, Toronto, and more before concluding on June 21 in Chicago at the Athenaeum Center.
This performance marks Celeste's second U.S. tour and his third overseas tour.
Celeste stated that she is “excited to tell some jokes, relive some awkward memories, and high kick my way across the stage” for her third international tour and second tour in the United States. Celeste previously toured “Celeste Barber: Fine, Thanks” internationally throughout 2022 and 2023, culminating with a Special filmed at the Sydney Opera House that was released on Netflix in 2023.
In addition, she performed solo as Celeste Barber Challenge Accepted! which made its debut in June 2017 in Sydney. Her first Showtime special was filmed from her performance at the Gramercy Theater in New York, and she went on to have a completely sold-out debut season in the UK. as well as Europe.
Barber's gut-busting sketches and celebrity parodies on Instagram have garnered her fame on a global scale, as well as 9.5 million followers. She makes fun of celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, and Cindy Crawford.
