The band's got Travis Book on double bass, Andy Hall on dobro, Andy Falco on guitar, Jeremy Garrett on violin, and Chris Pandolfi on banjo. When it comes to music, they're all about bluegrass. Bluegrass is what's put them on the map and it's what everyone loves about them. Funny enough, their sound's not stuck in the past though — they're known to have teamed up with modern musicians too. The band has also kicked off their own indie label, Americana Vibes.
Now, let's talk accolades. Back in 2011, they were in the running for Entertainer of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association. And in 2007, they cleaned up at the IBMA Awards with three wins, including Emerging Artist of the Year. Plus, they've got a Grammy under their belt for Best Bluegrass Album in 2018. They also have a 2021 Grammy nod for their album "A Tribute to Bill Monroe."
Molly Tuttle.
This Northern California native made her way to Nashville in 2015 to become a star. Since then, she's been making waves everywhere she goes. We're talking Album of the Year at the 2023 International Folk Music Awards and Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 International Bluegrass Music Awards. Oh, and let's not forget her serious skills on the guitar—she's been crowned Guitar Player of the Year at the IBMAs not once, but twice, making history as the first woman to snag that title.
Molly's been making music magic all over the globe, from major festivals like Pilgrimage to sharing the stage with legends like Sam Bush and Jason Isbell.
Her latest album with Golden Highway, "City of Gold," dropped in July, and it's been turning heads. But before that, her 2022 album "Crooked Tree" was making waves too, scoring her that coveted Best Bluegrass Album Grammy. NDL Music calls her a "female flat picker extraordinaire," blending traditional bluegrass with a singer-songwriter twist that's pure magic.
