Following super popular tours across Europe, the UK, and Norway, Wardruna is plotting Part II of their World Tour this year. The band will perform at a number of legendary summer festivals, including America’s Fire in the Mountains, Germany’s Summer Breeze Open Air, and Romania’s Rockstadt Extreme Fest, among others. The group will return to North America in September 2025 alongside special guest Chelsea Wolfe on select shows.
The North American leg kickstarts on 4 September at the Will Rogers Auditorium in Ft. Worth, TX, will take over top venues like the Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington on 13 September, before wrapping up on 28 September in Washington, DC at the Warner Theater. This year, music lovers across the States will experience the awakening of the bear LIVE and up close on stage.
The new run of shows comes on the heels of Wardruna’s brand new opus. Wardruna dropped their new album, Birna in January 2025 through By Norse Music and Sony Music. “The album unravels the long and entangled history of the relationship between man and Bear and contemplating the present state of how we humans relate to the wild in general,” says Wardruna.
Formed in 2003, Wardruna is a Norwegian music group. Created by Einar Selvik, as well as Gaahl and Lindy-Fay Hella, the unique band puts their own musical spin on Norse cultural and esoteric traditions. Their music and shows are often performed with historical and traditional instruments including deer-hide frame drums, flutes, kraviklyra, tagelharpe, mouth harp, goat horn, and lur. They also use non-traditional instruments like trees, rocks, water, and torches. So far, Wardruna has dropped five full-length albums, all to great critical acclaim. And now, you get the chance to experience their latest opus live for the first time! Don’t miss this rare chance - confirm your place at this must-see concert today!
