Brad Williams has turned into a household name. The Californian comedian has amassed a sizable internet following and built a name for himself on the national comedy circuit. He has also appeared as a guest on numerous radio shows and comedy podcasts. The young Williams was first noticed by Carlos Mencia during his live show, when he was in the crowd. To great acclaim, Mencia brought him on stage to participate to the show. Williams draws new audiences with each performance by openly discussing his dwarfism and making jokes and references to it on a regular basis. Williams also exhibits a brash approach toward themes including relationships, sex, handicap, and racism.
In addition to hosting the iTunes podcast About Last Night, Williams made history in May 2015 when he debuted as the highest-rated comedy special on Showtime with his critically acclaimed comedy special Fun Size. Furthermore, he appears on television series such as Legit, Deadbeat, Dave Attell's Comedy Underground, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Mind Of Mencia, and Pitboss on a regular basis, all while avoiding being mistaken as Wee Man from Jackass.
This year, he’s headed on a North American tour to bring the laughs all over the nation. There are other major events in Williams' career besides the current tour that brings him back to Seattle. You can watch his brand-new one-hour special, "Starfish," on Veeps, Live Nation's live entertainment streamer. Williams' three-hour-long, all-new special was filmed at Sony Hall in New York City. It offers his perspectives on managing relationships and daily living as a small person.
“If you look at ‘Starfish’ and the other specials, they are all little snapshots of my life,” Williams says. “The first one was being young, dumb and full of something in my early ‘20s. Then ‘Daddy Issues’ was me kind of coming into understating family issues are more important.”
